What types of projects does Biophilia Kenya handle?
We handle a wide range of interior construction and fitout projects including office space planning and partitioning, kitchen and wardrobe fittings, flooring, ceiling works, custom furniture supply and installation, and full commercial interior fitouts. We work with both residential and commercial clients across Nairobi
How do I get a quote for my project?
You can reach us via phone, email or our website contact form. Once we receive your enquiry, our team will arrange a site visit or consultation to understand your requirements, take measurements and discuss your budget and timeline — after which we will provide a detailed project proposal
Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?
Yes. We work with homeowners, law firms, corporate offices, SMEs, retail businesses and other commercial clients. Whether it is a kitchen renovation in a private home or a full office fitout for a corporate client, we have the experience and capacity to deliver.
What is the minimum project size you take on?
We take on projects of all sizes. Our completed projects range from Ksh 200,000 for smaller fitouts to Ksh 2.2 million and above for large commercial interiors. We are happy to discuss your project regardless of scale and advise on the best approach
Can Biophilia Kenya handle the full project from design to completion?
Absolutely. We are a one-stop shop for interior construction and fitout services. Our team manages the entire project lifecycle — from initial design concept and space planning through to procurement, construction, installation and final handover — so you deal with one team throughout
Do you provide design proposals before starting work?
Yes. As part of our process, we prepare proposed office layouts, design concepts and presentation boards for your review and approval before any construction work begins. This ensures the final outcome aligns with your vision and expectations

Billing
Questions
How does Biophilia Kenya structure its project payments?
Our payment structure is project-based and is agreed upon during the proposal stage. Typically, projects are structured with an initial deposit to mobilise resources, milestone payments tied to project phases, and a final payment upon completion and client sign-off.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers, mobile money (M-Pesa) and cheque payments. Full payment details including our bank account information are provided on our invoices. Please contact us directly if you require alternative payment arrangements
Will I receive a formal quotation and invoice for my project?
Yes. All projects are accompanied by a formal written quotation detailing the scope of works, materials and costs. Upon agreement, we issue formal invoices at the agreed payment milestones. We operate transparently and professionally in all financial transactions.
Are there any hidden costs I should be aware of?
No. We believe in transparent and honest pricing. Our quotations are detailed and cover all agreed works. Should any variations or additional works arise during the project, these are discussed and agreed with you in writing before any additional costs are incurred.
Does Biophilia Kenya charge for site visits and consultations?
Initial consultations and site visits within Nairobi are complimentary. For sites outside Nairobi or for detailed design consultations requiring significant preparation time, any applicable fees will be communicated to you in advance.
What happens if the project scope changes after work has started?
Any changes to the agreed scope of works are handled through a formal variation process. We will assess the impact on cost and timeline, provide a written variation order for your approval, and only proceed once you have confirmed the changes in writing.
